I’m a huge fan of the Memphis Dust rub but after using it for so long, I wanted something slightly different. Not too much but something with a little different flavor profile. I decided to incorporate some lemon and remove the ginger. I also tweaked some of the ratios. What I produced turned out to be a great tasting rub that goes on both pork and chicken.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ยผ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp lemon pepper
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp salt
